Nothing feels as full as empty fills body

Reykjavík Art Museum 2024

A mirror, standing in a space, is essentially a tool to see yourself in: to self-reflect.
It reflects the ‘objective’ view of the body and its surroundings. With hovering words that can be strained into several simple sentences, this mirror (this work) meditates on the body and the space it temporarily captures within it.
On the volumes of these vessels, full in their emptiness and empty in their fullness.
